Energy stocks rise on uptick in oil prices (Market Watch)

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- A modest uptick in crude-oil prices gave a lift Tuesday to oil and gas stocks at the open. The Amex Oil Index was ahead 0.7% at 1,303 points in early trades, led by Occidental Petroleum's 1.3% gain. The Amex Natural Gas Index was ahead 0.8% and the Philadelphia Oil Service Index was up 0.7%. Crude-oil for September delivery was ahead 20 cents at $114.65 a barrel...
