SO MAYBE THE fall entertainment schedule isn't quite as glittering as it was two years ago, when Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Barry Manilow and Barbra Streisand all appeared within the space of a month in Atlantic City. But it's not like the town will be a show-business wasteland during the last quarter of 2008.
