I wasn’t very enthralled by the trailers for The Incredible Hulk until one of the last TV spots appeared that, I don’t know, just made me a little more curious. I’d read good things about the film and decided that there were worse ways of spending an evening. I’ve got to say that I really enjoyed it. It’s not as good as Iron Man and is very different to Ang Lee’s more ponderous version and, overall,...

Source : Tabula Rasa (subscribe)

Explore : Cinema, Comics, Directors, Incredible Hulk, Publishers

... bullet anymore. Could Warner Bros really be open to rebooting the franchise? The parallels between Ang Lee's Hulk and Bryan Singer's Superman Returns are striking, and I can honestly see the studio choosing a similarly clean slate. But they would be ditching a pretty expensive investment in Returns , and creating quite a controversy in the process. Far more people loved Superman Returns than Hulk...

Source : Cinematical (subscribe)

Explore : Cinema, Comics, Directors, Movies, Publishers

... FF looking like a 2 hour commercial for toys, and the Hulk trying to be cerebral and romantic – Ang Lee style. Also with different studios owning the movies, the fans were never going to see crossover cameos like Tony Stark made in the Incredible Hulk. The exchange between Gen. Ross and Tony Stark alone is worth the price of the tickets. It is tongue-in-cheek and foreshadowing banter at its finest....

Source : CultureFeast (subscribe)

Explore : Cinema, Comics, DC Comics, Movies, Publishers

Making another Hulk movie probably will do no harm after the 2003 Hulk where Ang Lee sunk to a low that was detrimental. The movie was a complete catastrophe as unanimously supported by everyone. I for one thought that some of the special effects were pretty good, but what do I know because everyone booed that remark as it escaped my lips. So basically, the universal notion about continuing the Hulk...

Source : TheCelebrityCafe.com (subscribe)

Explore : Actors and Actresses, Cinema, Comics, Movies, Publishers

Marvel fans have it pretty good this year. Now we have to hope Marvel can keep up the momentum, especially since they have quite a few years ahead mapped out pretty thoroughly. We know Marvel Studios is planning...

Source : Cinema Blend Feeds (subscribe)

Explore : Actors and Actresses, Cinema, Comics, Movies, Publishers
