The mouse/keyboard control system for most PC games is second nature to most gamers but now someone is promising Wii-like control for those that like a more, er, 'interactive experience'. Unlike the rumours about an Xbox 360 Wiimote and a PS3 Wiimote, this one exists. Meet Stix, a Wiimote-clone if ever there was one and I'm sure some Nintendo legal sharks will be checking this...

Source : Gizmodo UK (subscribe)

Explore : PlayStation, PlayStation 3, Video Games, Xbox, Xbox 360

Wiibrew Chess, one of the earliest homebrew ever released on the Wii, finally gets an update. This version doesn't come from the original author, but from coder vader347. Now on version 0.0.2, the game now comes with Wiimote support. The original version of the game only had support for the Game Cube controller - not surprising, considering it was made during the early days of Wiibrew.

Thanks to a code that Captain_Hero sifted from the early Wiimote Demo source, the homebrew developer grafted rumble feedback plus Wii remote control to an old arcade classic. What resulted became Pimp my Pong, and it was named so, because coder Captain_Hero hopes to add interesting features that could only be Wii-inspired or simply all out fun.
