I donât think Iâve played a Tom Clancy game on the DS but the handful released on the GBA were incredibly successful. Letâs hope this game lives up to the initial promise presented by these first screens.

Ubisoft's team for Tom Clancy's HAWX air combat game did its homework: it visited USGS and EROS "to understand the concept of topographical 'underpinning' to create a realistic representation of the earth." Then it decided to use GeoEye imagery in the game, including shots of Rio de Janeiro, Cape Canaveral and the Middle East. The game is expected in 2009. - The HD Room

Ubisoft has announced a partnership with GeoEye, to provide images for Ubi's upcoming air combat game Tom Clancy's HAWX. GeoEye's satellite is currently being used by the US national Security, and hopefully will this give some great environments in the game. The images inside show Algeria, Rio de Janeiro and Cape Canaveral.
