Rob Portman is frequently mentioned as a possible vice presidential nominee for John McCain. If you believe Bob Novak, he's the favorite. The biggest reason is that he is seen as giving McCain a big boost in the critical state...

Source : Michael Goldfarb - The Blog (subscribe)

Explore : John McCain, Political Bloggers, Politics, Rob Portman

My dad used to work at the USEC plant, so you've kind of hit one of my private pet issues. I hadn't heard that the centrifuge project was failing. I'd find it rather surprising since there's been adequate proof of concept for it and the infrastructure for it was largely in place since the 1980s. Can you point to a newstory or some sourcing about this? I'd like to read about it.

Source : Buckeye State Blog - Comments (subscribe)

Explore : Politics, Republican Party, Rob Portman

The thorny issue of providing data exclusivity to pharma MNCs has come under limelight. The United States Trade Representative (USTR) seems to be lobbying hard with the health ministry for data exclusivity, which if allowed, will adversely affect domestic pharma companies that are making generic versions of patented drugs. Data exclusivity, if implemented, will stop or delay marketing...

Source : LAW WIRE™ - COMMUNICATING THE LAW™ (subscribe)

Explore : India
