On June 7, Suzy Hamblin died. She was age 101, and was the widow of Prohibition Party presidential nominee Stuart Hamblen, who ran in 1952. See this story. Stuart Hamblin himself died in 1989.

Prohibition Party Factions Unite on a Single Presidential Candidate (Ballot Access News)

The faction of the Prohibition Party formerly led by Earl Dodge has now nominated Gene Amondson for president to replace Dodge himself, who died in November 2007.
