VIDEO: Ford Mustang burnout in slow-motion (Autoblog)

Filed under: Videos , Ford Comedian extraordinaire Dave Chappelle theorized on his Comedy Central show that everything looks better in slow motion. We'd be inclined to agree, especially after watching this video of a Ford Mustang doing a burnout. No doubt there are burnout videos with better cars or more smoke, but the slow motion effect combined with a soundtrack from Smashing Pumpkins makes this one of the coolest burnout videos we've ever seen. Follow the jump to watch the unhurried destruction of tire tread.
Pick up your sticks: Madden '09 is coming out! (SeaTown Sports)

Any new sports video game that comes out reminds me of one of the funniest Dave Chappelle clips of all time: I've been playing video games all my life, my tastes in games have changed a lot over time but one thing has stayed the same, my love for Madden. I just got an X-Box 360 this past year, so playing Madden on XBox Live was a new thing for me. I loved it! I can't wait till the game comes out on Tuesday. (This is the one time of the year I'll drop 60 bucks on a video game). One of the many new features is the game itself being able to adapt to you and help you improve your gaming skills. This is pretty tight, considering playing against the computer was way easier than playing a real opponent online before. Oh ya, Brett Favre will be on the cover (as a Packer), but EA Sports won't change it. However an online patch will put Brett Favre in his rightful place, starting QB for the New York Jets. And yes, the Madden Curse has already struck . I'll take credit for predicting that something would happen and the Madden Curse would live on! Note: (If you have XBox Live and you want to live it up, leave your gamertag in the comments section or email it to me at seatownsports@gmail.com)

Chappelle Follows Lil’ John to Wine Market (slinging juice)

YELLOW SPRINGS, OH – Upon learning that Little John has tossed his pimp cup into the wine game, Dave Chappelle has picked up where he left off. Impersonating celebrities. Chappelle announced this week that he will also be releasing a line of wines; just months after Little John launched his own lineup , under his own name. The wines, labeled under the "What!?!" name will be sourced from local grapes grown within Chappelle's home state of Ohio. He will initially offer three whites (Seyval Blanc, Traminette, and Vignoles) as well as three reds (Chambourcin, De Chaunac, and Catawba) for the 2008 vintage. "Little John is an icon man. You hear me? Icon. All I gotta say is, forget making your own vodka. That's like 2002. Besides, it targets the wrong demographic, you white folks love all things wine and all things black. I can't lose. Thank you White America!" Chappelle said in a phone interview while on his farm in Ohio. When reached for comment, Little John said, "Whatever, I mean, this guy's been on my coattails for some time now. He dresses like me, talks like me, even emulates the way I conduct interviews. It's sad really. Oh and he grossly underestimated white folks love of wine, I mean, who is gonna drink those varietals? And from Ohio? Best of luck Dave." Look for What!?! wines at a wine shop or restaurant near you starting in Spring '09.
