<title>Arrestee's death ruled accidental (Orlando Sentinel)</title>
      <link>http://www.wikio.com/search/Marcus+Stephen?rinfoid=67835847</link>
<description>The death of an Orlando man who died in June while being held by police in Iowa was ruled an accident by the medical examiner there. Dr. Stephen Scheckel determined Thursday that the June 22 death of Marcus Edwards, 27, was caused by complications of the blood disorder sickle-cell trait. Authorities say Edwards was taken into custody for allegedly shoplifting lunch meat from a grocery store in Coralville, Iowa. Police say Edwards was cooperative. Officials say Edwards became less responsive shortly after he was taken to the police station. He was taken to an Iowa City hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was asked to investigate the death. Coralville police think it was the first in-custody death for that department.</description>
