$100 Million iFund Given for iPhone developers (iPod Reviews Blog)

It was a good day for aspiring iPhone developers. In addition to getting their first look at the iPhone SDK, developers were also told about the launch of a $100 Million iFund to invest in companies developing applications and services for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Automated Home reports that Apple has selected home automation technology company iControl to receive part of the $100 million in Venture Capital set aside for the iFund. The new Home Security 2.0 product from iControl will be ported and expanded to operate on the iPhone.
