      <description>&lt;p&gt;Seesmic, the still-in-alpha “Twitter for video”, has just announced its acquisition of Twhirl, one of the more popular apps for posting to Twitter, Jaiku, Pownce, etc. The Twhirl application runs on AIR, and sits on your desktop enabling you to see Twitter posts from those you follow, and post to Twitter as well.
