Class-action suit filed in C. Difficile hospital outbreaks in Quebec (Globe and Mail)

The victims of two deadly outbreaks of C. difficile at a hospital near Montreal are seeking permission to sue the institution for up to $10-million.Sixteen people died of C. difficile from May to November of 2006 at the Honore-Mercier Hospital in St-Hyacinthe. About 70 people contracted the bacterial infection during the outbreaks.
